What to Expect

Learn what you can expect when you worship and fellowship with us at North Belt Baptist Church.

WORSHIP

When you join us for services, you will find that we love singing the old hymns in a traditional service. We typically observe the Lord’s Supper on the first Sunday of every month. Our central focus during our services is the Word of God. During scripture readings and sermons you will find that we typically use the King James Version.

EVENTS AND HOLIDAYS

Special events on Sundays may include baptisms, baby dedications, fellowships, family play days, graduation celebrations, baby or wedding showers.

OUR CHURCH FAMILY

We believe in the support and encouragement of the family as a whole and in the blessing of children. While a nursery is available if parents choose to use it, we also welcome children of all ages in all services. We enjoy good fellowship and family fun as often as we can! Children play on the playground throughout the day, and when the Afternoon Service and choirs are finished you might find the volleyball net going up in the gym.

CHOIRS

Many of our congregation love to sing our Lord’s praises together! We have an Adult Choir for ages 16+ and a Children’s Choir for ages 8-15. The choirs meet starting at 2:00 PM on Sundays.

NURSERY

A nursery is provided for infants through children four years of age. A nursing mother’s room complete with a livestream of the service is provided for the comfort of mothers and their babies.

LUNCH

Join us for a “picnic” lunch every Sunday! Plug in your crockpot or put your casserole on the warmer, bring a cooler and plasticware, or pick something up at a nearby restaurant. We enjoy fellowship and lunch together in the gym.
